Technology
I am not usually the person that you want talking about technology. I am the person without cable, without DSL, and without a cell phone. I have really enjoyed spending some time exploring Web 2.0; however I have to say that I don't necessarily think that I have changed my overall ideas about certain web technologies. When I allow myself to explore technologies (like websites, blogging, and photo sharing) I have a lot of fun; however I find that it sucks up my time. It is similar to surfing the web. Don't get me wrong, I use the Internet...I pay my bills online, email family, and shop online; but I try and limit these activities because if I don't I find that entire evenings are lost. Somehow I feel as though I am the only person that needs to limit her exposure to certain technologies so that she might live a more balanced life (cook food, go to the gym, talk to my husband). Unfortunately, these feelings were not changed by my Web 2.0 experiences thus far.

No cell phone, no cable, no DSL! I can't believe it! You are saving a lot of money. I don't have cable or dSL either, but I do have a cell phone that I would lOVE to get rid of. However, I enjoy communicating with others at any time and any location.
